Framer is a no-code software that allows me to create websites without programming. The website you are on was created by me using Framer. For clients, I have created, for example, this one and that one.

The advantage of using Framer is that I, as a designer, can quickly build high-quality websites and am more agile in collaborating with clients.

Framer also has one of the most user-friendly CMS systems, with which my clients can easily add content once the website is with them.

Further information about Framer:

• A Framer subscription usually costs between €15-30/month, depending on the scope (check the pricing here).

• I am limited in my website creation to what can be implemented in Framer. Framer can do a lot, but not everything.

• What Framer cannot do are mainly complex backend features. If you want an interactive web application, Framer is not suitable. For a website that mainly presents information, it fits perfectly.

Is Framer GDPR compliant?

For the following information: I am not a data protection expert, and this is not legal advice.

• The question of GDPR compliance cannot be answered simply, as it depends on the content of your website.

• However, a solution can always be found with Framer (and external software).

• Framer offers the possibility of creating a cookie banner, but it cannot block any content other than Google Analytics – depending on the content, this is necessary, e.g., for embedded YouTube videos or Google Maps. Here, external software must be used (which is the case for most websites).

• Google Fonts can be uploaded locally. (Online loaded Google Fonts transmit the user's IP address)

• The integrated Framer Analytics do not set cookies.
